Hi Gents,

I am in need of some information regarding the placement of the holes I need to drill to replace the moulds on a Hg Prem we are restoring,

the car came to us a basket case and half the pins ground off and we also had different guards and it needed new lower QTR’s.

We will be needing to drill a few holes and will be using the new style rivet mount pins. So I need the location height and spacing distance for the wheel arches, lower rear qtrs, and full front guards ( arches and bottom for the sill mould.

Any diagrams or a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for your time.

Regards Matt

Good luck! You may have to find a HG Premier or Brougham to copy off. I’ve kept HK guards and coupe quarters for this exact purpose.

Hi Mathew,
HGs don't have Wheel Arch Moulds. So this probably makes the moulds easier to fit to the beaver Panels.
Unless it's a HT or HK, then it would have had them.

Hi Mathew

morseworld is correct in regards to Belmont and Kingswoods but all

HG Premier Sedans Wagons also Brougham Sedans all had factory fitted Front and Rear wheel arch mouldings

Also available as packages to fit to Belmont Kingswood and Monaro

As HK1837 posted the best template to work from will be another original car

preferably if available one that has the mouldings removed prior to panel and paint work

Sorry the rear 1/4 doesn’t have pins. It’s off a HK kingswood.
