Hey guys ,
Would appreciate some help with the part number / stencil on hk cross members.
I have restored an August 68 hk premier 186 powerglide car Sydney built..
I currently have stenciled on there now AC 7434500 but have come across earlier posts which may suggest this is wrong...Thinking it well may be 2805250 ..And would there be a BL or AC in front of that part number?

Both the #s you mention are correct, I have a Melbourne built HK Disc brake X member here out of a Kingswood with 7434500 AC stencilled on it. My Sydney GTS 327 has 2805250 on it. According to the HK Monaro Supplementary Cat.M36567. the assembly stencilled with #2805250 was 1st introduced on the Monaro GTS 327s exc.those with Air condition which had 2805251. The blue and Yellow Parts Catalogue lists X Member #7448719 was to for ALL HKs. So from all that I would say 7434500 is correct for your car.

To add to all that the HK Parts Catalogue M35966 lists All HK X members with # 7432724. Of cource that would be all HKs before the Monaro arrived on the scene.
