My VN S1 Calais air cond is not working , I took it to an A/C place and they said we can just put an adaptor on it a fill it with R134a . Is there a proper receiver/drier replacement so I can use the R134a properly ? Thanks Mark.

Because the VN system doesn't have a "normal" style drier & TX valve, they really don't need to be altered in any way to run R134a gas.

Having said that, the VN's weakness was always the condenser. If you fit a parallel flow style condenser from a VP (it is a bolt in fit) your good to go.

Fit the two R134a adaptors & regas the system & that's about it.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0
