Hi, new to the forum but I am trying to find out the original carpet colour for my HD. I remember it from new ( in NZ) and I am sure the carpet was grey but there seems to be 2 shades. Seats are still original and 2 tone grey. The trim code is just 2815. Exterior colour Narrogin Green..
Thanks in advance.

NZ built Holdens of that era are very different in the trim dept. The trim number 2815 isn't used here either,

I assume yours is a Special (Narrogin Green was a colour seen on Specials), but HD Specials in Australia didn't get carpet, not even as an option.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

correct.... my first was a HD Special sedan manual X2 version (bought 2nd hand)
and
vinyl was the floor covering (darkish green in my case to go with the paint scheme as pictured)

Thanks for the replies. I was just a young lad when my father bought the car and I owned for about 5 years in the late 80’s but for some reason I can’t remember the floor coverings. Perhaps they were just rubber. I think it was Australian assembled, Melbourne by the body number but perhaps it was sent here as a ckd. I have only just bought it back so will see if I can find out anything from previous owners.

You’ll know if it was SUP or CKD by the tags and chassis number.
