You don’t need HT-HG engine mount adapters, you can use HQ-WB with HQ onwards engine mounts. You’ll need the 253 throttle linkage and V8 radiator as stated.
You need a V8 3spd from HG to HZ, HT are closer ratio and not really suited to a 253. Your box will be the same if its good, but needs a V8 HG-HZ 3spd input shaft plus the cover to suit the type of seal. You need a HT to mid HZ V8 manual (not 350) bellhousing and clutch fork plus the bracket that bolts to the bellhousing for the clutch mech off a HT-HG 253 3spd.
You will need a V8 banjo centre which only came in 2.78 or 3.08. You won’t find one, so grab an LH-LX 3.3 manual diff which were mainly 3.08 and get a yoke off a VB-VH 4.2 diff. Will need to be rebuilt. This will give you a coarse spline V8 banjo. You’ll have to change the speedo cable gear to suit the different ratio.
You’ll need HT-HG disc brakes, booster, master cylinder, rear shoes and the wheel cylinders to suit.
You will need a tailshaft from a HT 253 3spd or 253/308 auto.
Plus all appropriate fan, spacer, belt, radiator and heater hoses etc. HT-HG 263/308 has a unique alternator bracket too. Dipstick is different too from memory. Exhaust manifolds are the same as HQ-HJ. You can buy repro choke pipes in stainless.
Someone will make a repro choke blank for V8 to go in the dash.
