The other day I pulled the rear wheels off my Type 1 GTS 327, the rear drum brakes have a thin metal wheel spacer on each side. My question is I have never seen this on a 6 cylinder HK. Is this a 327 only option, or a 6 inch wheel option or was it only put on cars with radius rods to adjust wheel track? I have no idea and hope someone may have an idea.

The spacers were installed so the D70 tyres when fitted cleared the radius rods. GMH fixed this by changing the Rally Wheel offset on HT so the spacers were no longer required.
