Hi.
I have acquired a 23-3064 WW Stromberg which is listed as being for an HQ 253 Manual.
Doing a bit of digging, it seems that the difference between Auto and Manual, is that the vacuum ports for distributor vacuum advance are above the throttle plates for Manual (ported vacuum), and below the throttle plates for Auto (manifold vacuum).

On my carburetor, these vacuum ports are just above the throttle plates when completely shut. When the throttle plates are slightly open, these vacuum ports are below the throttle plates.
Does anyone know if this is correct for a Manual carb ? I want to make sure the throttle body hasn't been swapped for an Auto version on mine.

Tks.
Andrew.
