Hello all I’m looking for some upper and lower control arm bushes for an HZ. Are these the same item as used on HQ-HX or do the HZ RTS equipped cars have different ones. Thanks in advance for any advice!

In the HZ Features Manual it states that the LCA bushes have revised characteristics and the rear control arm bushes (on passenger models of course) are "modified rate".
Having said that I doubt you'll find aftermarket bushes with different part numbers for HZ, especially not today. I suspect GMH may even have superseded the prior W body bushes in the 80's after HZ and then they were all the same after that other than old stock. Possibly the only aftermarket supplier who knew there was a difference was probably the one that made them for GMH.
Dr Terry will probably have better insight into it as he would have been sourcing and fitting these to cars since the 80's. |
