Hi all,
Just after some help in identifying the 3 wire going to ignition coil on my Hr holden.
I have 3 wires, one red, one yellow and a black one that seems to have some sort of rough coating.
Any help would be appreciated.

If its original wiring, common sense says red and yellow to the + side of the coil and black to the - side. BUt wait until a HR guru answers!

Thanks HK1837, all 3 have always gone to the + side of coil with the condenser coming off the -.
At the moment i have no voltage showing on the red and yellow when they are attached to the coil.
I believe one should be from "on" and one from "start" from ignition switch, just not sure which is which.

Yes, one is a resistance wire for RUN and the other 12V for START. Not sure what the 3rd will be on the 12V terminal,
