Do the rear tail light surrounds from HX-HZ wagon/van (part 9946326) take well to being polished?
If so, would Brasso or similar be the weapon of choice?

They'll be like many other chromed or stainless parts, just be careful how abrasive you go on them. They are just chrome plated alloy, nut sure what base is under the chrome. The low spec ones (HQ-HX Belmont ute/van/wagon or HJ to HZ Holden ute/van) are painted so if you rub through go looking at HQ-HZ Kingswood/Premier ute/wagon/van or HX-HZ Sandman ute/van for donors.

Autosol metal polish is working a treat. There is a coppery colour underneath the chrome - a part of the chrome was already missing.
