Does anybody know what a "late FJ" would be, in the context of Front-end Mounting Rubbers and Bolts, the rubbers and bolts that sit on the front subframe rails. The Manual does not specify the usual ".....commences after engine number-------" or any other identifying data, and I'm a bit confused when comparing the subframe of a 48 (FX) with various year builds of FJ. There are, as we know, varying classifications for "early FJ" and "late FJ", in the Shop Manual, for such items as seals, bearings, etc.; and what is classified as a "late FJ" for, say, a rear-axle bearing, could well be described in the Manual as an "early model" for some other part.
