Mate has a VR SS manual. Car starts and runs fine with the key but key door unlock/lock buttons don’t work. Any suggestions? Key has a new battery. Would it be a dead key? Or has a module failed in the car? |

Does the central locking work manually ? i.e. by pushing the driver's door snib up & down.
If it does the most likely cause is a faulty remote. Get a second one made.
If that doesn't work, the other 2 possibilities are a faulty BCM or the remote aerial in the top of the dash

The central locking works manually. He has a scan tool that can reprogram a key, has ordered a new key. Thanks for the help. |
