When holden went to RTS what exactly was changed other than the shock position and sway bar diameter? Are the top and bottom wishbones and stub axles interchangable into a HQ subframe?

Lots of small changes like bushes etc, the shock didn’t move, it stayed in the same place. The UCA moved backwards. It’s all interchangeable, although the HZ LCA’s had an opened up hole to fit the shocks through. The biggest changes are the chassis steel is thinner, the UCA mounts and rear sway bar mounts on the diffs and chassis. The rest is pretty much bolt on (or press in for the bushes). There is a whole page list of all the things that changed for RTS, but most are just minor things to add up to the whole. The interesting thing is not all HZ's came with steel belted radials. |
