Its an 81469 XU7 which in HQ was called Chevrolet 350. Sold in Australia to consulates and also sent overseas to NZ and South Africa at least, plus probably Malaysia, Thailand etc. Sales used 84469 coding. But if its a later body, they were also sold in Malaysia with 3300 and 4sps manual, nit sure if they also used the XU7 coding but should be 8WS69 not 81469 model. Was it a HQ? |

Yeah the car is in Thailand and its a HQ the 350 engine and gearbox is missing but some one has replaced it with a 308 auto im pretty sure the codes read 81469 XU7
Is there any way to find trim and paint with tags missing i asked HHS and they said they cant if so can i get new tags done?
The 308 has the engine code QT 516 303 but the numbers are not in a line and looks hand stamped , was this done in over seas markets or is the number just mage up? I have photos but i dont know how to attach them here im a bit shit with computers thank you

81469 XU7 is the correct internal GMH model and PO code for it. The cars assembled in Australia had an 84469 sales code on the BODY ID tag so its obviously not Australian assembled. QT516303 is a HQ number, no idea where they would have got the number from unless it was originally on the block You can post photos here. You have to upload images to an album, create the album first by clicking on your username and then CREATE ALBUM. Upload the images.
Then EDIT one of your posts, and click un the icon above the edit box with the double mountains, it says ADD ALBUM IMAGE when you hover over it.
It would never had tags on it like an Australian car showing paint and trim. What is on it are what the Malaysian Assembly plant would have put on it. |
