the XY diff will be to short for th XB think its an inch and a half or there abouts. the XB has a wider body and so the springs are spaced further apart
why not look for a 9 inch diff out of a XC 351 or 351 Fairlane - LTD as these will fit straight in an

Thanks for the advice.
I want to fit a set of 15x12 rims with 305 TAs to my coupe and thought it would be easier fitting an xy diff instead of getting mine shortened.Im currently running 15x10 rims with 295 TAs and noticed there is plenty of room between

The XY diff should be fine for what you are wanting. Just make sure you have the offset of the wheels spot on so that you don't get any fouling.

i did think that the springs were further apart on the later models but i could be wrong, wouldnt be the first time .

Hi Wimjack. I can help you with an XY 9". Has been converted to XD disc brakes, has new rotors, pads and axle bearings. $1100 (less centre) and it's yours. I can help you out with a centre as well as a choice of ratios too.
