I was reading a Mag and there was an ad for stroker kits and i saw that u can bore out a 308 and 350 to the same size(388) and was wondering which would be ther better engine to do this to or if they would be the same? I was told that the 308 bored out will have more torque if they r both bored out to the same wouldnt they be the same?
Cheers Justin

Was thanked: 5 time(s) in 5 post(s)
they will be bored, and stroked (new crank)
the 350 can go further than 388 (as far as i know they can use a 400 SB crank)
the 308-388 conversion is good but the more cubes the better!

ps..... check this out.....
500+ cubes Small block on the way wi
