XB Ute Options

If manual either borgy or top loader 4 speed depending on when it left the factory. It will also have a nine inch diff. Check the compliance plate to see what type of engine they had

A mate has an XB ute rolling chassis and I have a 351W + C6 sitting in the shed - they seem destined for each other! If anyone has any advise re problems we might run into please let me know. nuub1

I very much doubt that your compliance plate will show a K code engine though. Very rare in the XB's and only ever

You will have no problems fitting a 351 to an XB regardless of what engine it originally came fitted with and what is on the compliance plate. They are a big, heavy box and the tranny tunnel is going to need a bit of modifying to get it to fit properly. You might also have a few dramas if you plan to run extractors as I read somewhere
