I recently a purchased a supercharged V6 motor from the wreckers, with the intention of putting it in my VS commodore ute. I now find that the heads are completly stuffed obviously the motor had a flogging in its its previous life.

Are the heads off a standard V6 the same as the Supercharged ones?

Hope You can help

Yours Sincerely

Nope - the super6 heads have provision for the injectors at the top of the inlet ports because they aren't in the manifold like a naturally aspirated one.
Cheers,

Mick

Thanks that helps some, the only differnce I thought was that may be different size valves and stronger valve springs.
