Do you know how to check the computer codes and/or where the computer is located?

It sounds like your crank angle sensor is cactus (a common VL fault). It could also be a couple of other sensors or a couple of wiring plugs.

Whereabouts are you (State/City)?

here is a link to all vl fault codes, http://www.justcommodore...articles/vl_computer.php
I think a gregorys manual will help you out ALOT. Just call into autbarn or any good shop to get a copy. It will tell and SHOW you what you need to do to test

Practice makes perfect! Give yourself a day or two and rip out your old trim, study it (see how it works) and try and put it back on again! Easiest way to learn is to teach yourself if you dont have someone to show you!

They come in handy for trim items too - like bumpers and what not! Give it a shot! They only cost about $30 and have everything about your car inside of them, so whats to lose!!

Don't bag the UC, it might just be the car that kicks ur ass!!

Guys,

You don't even have to get a new manual...check out the second hand bookshops in your area or go to local swap meets (quite often in shopping centre carparks on a Sunday morning). You can quite often get manuals for $10 - $15 at swap meets.
