Do you know how to check the computer codes and/or where the computer is located?

It sounds like your crank angle sensor is cactus (a common VL fault). It could also be a couple of other sensors or a couple of wiring plugs.
Whereabouts are you (State/City)?

here is a link to all vl fault codes, http://www.justcommodore...articles/vl_computer.phpI think a gregorys manual will help you out ALOT. Just call into autbarn or any good shop to get a copy. It will tell and SHOW you what you need to do to test

They come in handy for trim items too - like bumpers and what not! Give it a shot! They only cost about $30 and have everything about your car inside of them, so whats to lose!!
Don't bag the UC, it might just be the car that kicks ur ass!!
