Hi all,
New to this so bear with me. Recently purchased an FJ ute. Its already been restored, and nice and clean to look at, but mechanically could use some attention. My plans are to drop in a V8, and turn her into a little hot rod, but I don't have the know-how to start such a task. Engine/transmission will be the first to be done. Can anyone gimme some pointers, or steer me in the direction of someone who could work on it (willing to pay).

You don`t need an 8 to make these oldies move as they are light , We had a guy in our club with an FJ ute it ran a carbied V6 buick motor with 9inch diff I can`t remember what trans he had and this was quite potent and street legal , it was on the show c
