Have built a 351 windsor and having trouble finding the engine numbers. Any ideas where the are stamped on a 351 windsor

The engine number should be stamped at the front behind the alternator, although alot of people mistake a 351 for a 302 and if that is the case its across the back behind the manifold. The other tricky thing is that if its a yanky one there will be no num

My American built Cleveland had a numeral only engine number stamped on the back of the block. Just above the left hand side cylinder head, I dont know if this helps you with a Windsor though.
