Has anyone got any tips on getting a HZ door open that seems to be stuck in the lock position without destroying the door trim? The lock mechanism is stuck in the lock position and the door won't open. Thanks heaps for any info...

I used to have this problem when I changed the locks in my old HZ. To get the door open I had to thump the door, just below the lock from memory. The pushrod from the external handle would jam up, and if I thumped the door in the right place, it would dis

The RACV,NRMA etc can usually open a door with one of their special levers. Then as suggested once you have the door open, take off the trim ,and using a torch to view, spray some CRC or similar around the lock.Work the lock/knob/key so you can see what wor

You could always get a Air chizel & sacfifice the door on the outside ,If the door has heaps of rust on the inside & outside then this could be an option . If you dont have an Air Chizel then just grap a good size hammer & a normal sharp Chizel . Don't fo

If you were living in the cab why would you want to open the bonnet anyway? You guys just don't make any sense some times??!!
