gday all. when i first put the 253 in my ute it had a 350 holley which was a bitch to start. so i upgraded to a 4 barrel Carter quadrajet of a VK that i picked up for $50 (the carby that is)

anyway ive had a few blokes tellin me i would be better off gettin a rochester quady as the original holden manifolds with the carter quad make it run thirstier as opposed to the rochy's

any suggestions?
