Anybody out there got any advice on installing a/c into my HQ STATO. Was originally fitted to car but has been removed before I bought it. Car now has GTS dash with only two outlets. Is there any factory a/c units out there I could install, or will I have to fit an aftermarket under dash unit? Have been told this will cost approx $2,000. Sounds a bit too much to me. What do you think? Any advice on this topic would be very much appreciated.

Not trying to cramp your sale but some of the behind dash ducting is not the same the Q dash is different shape, also the switch is a bit different you have to enlarge the hole a bit but it goes in. If you are looking to make it "original" you have to wat

Thanks for your replies. Am gonna try and make it through the summer without air-con and see how my finances are next year. Thanks again for the offer. Cheers.
