Two or three months ago, a mate was denied a R.W.C. because he was using lowering blocks; i told him they were legal, he knew this and argued with the mechanic. ended up taking them off to shut the idiot up.
Now i'm fast approaching rego time on my parts chaser, it's running lowering blocks and i'll be damned if i'm going to roll over on this.
What i need to know is A/ Where can i confirm the actual ruling on lowering blocks and B/ Who do i go to if the mechanic doing the R.W.C. says he wont pass the car because of the lowering blocks?
I know it'd be easier to just remove them for the test but NOT AN OPTION.
If anyone has had this fight before or knows where i can check things, i'd like to hear from you. thanks in advance.

They are legal. They must be made of metal and have the locating pins for the spring and axle. The U bolts cannot be extended and must be made of 1 piece.
