Hi guys and girls, just brought my next project a HX Van. I need to fix the cowl panles/plenum chambers. What do people do to prevent it from happening again in 5 or 10 yrs time? It appears to be a design fault , like the rear quarters. Is there any preventive Maintenance that can be done???? Edited by user Friday, 27 January 2006 5:27:37 AM(UTC)

With the heavy rust that your HX has in that area, I would tend to spend a little more time and remove the entire cowl panel, fix the plenum rust and put on a non-rusty cowl off a donor car. If the cowl is rusty the plenum will be too, and normally the fl |
