i put the front of my hq back together, but the bonnet sits up to high at the windscreen end. I have lowered the bonnet hinges to as low as they can, but it still sits up about 12mm to high.....any advice!!
Also I have got 15" weld wheels on it, trouble is when I turn full lock, the front tyre rubs on the bottom of the wheel arch at the front of the car. what can i do........cheers

I've got the same problem Phil but I haven't rally bothered to take the time to have a look at it.

The things that gets me is that it was aligned perfectly before I took it off.

Strange how that works.

Cant help with your Bonnet. But I know your frustration. :))

As for your 15" weldies. Most of the time this Rubbing happens because the Offset? These wheels came from the states and are a Multi fit pattern.

The only Way I know of fixing the problem

try lowering the rear part of the hing and lift the front part up as high as you can. I know that defies logic but its something to do with hing bending geometry. Lower your bonet slowly as it will be over done and the edges/corners may dig in to low!!!
