G'day Guys,
I have '76 HX Ute, and the wipers no longer work.
I was working in that area at the time, so i mite have stuffed something, this is what I did:
* Took Wiper Grill (under windscreen) off, to install a finer mesh behind it (I park under a Jackaranda (spel?) so the plenum fills with crap...)
* Fitted grill, had to go to work, forgot to put one wiper back on, started to rain, turned wipers on, the one that was still connected moved a little bit then stopped......
* Since then, nothing has happened at all..... motor doesnt appear to be trying to turn, will check for voltages at the motor plug.
* Also, last couple of days Ive noticed that the Wiper Stalk has been warm to the touch! is this normal? or should I pull the wheel off and look for a short........
* Thanks guys!
