Hi there, just need some advice on which pulleys to run in my HG panno.....its a 307 , which Waterpump /Pulleys should i use - short or long - for A: A thermo fan only setup...or B: an original fan setup...i own a short water pump at the moment but no pulleys yet...any opinions on which one would be better ?..i have no power steering either..so a single belt will suffice. I have no radiator yet either, so will i need to consider the type i get...as to which set up will suit the best?

I am also after stock pulleys to suit if u have them..

Thank you all very much :)

The HK and HT 307 used the short water pump, 4 blade fan and a shroud. You can use either water pump setup though. 307's don't get really hot, unless of course they are bored to 327 or bored and stroked to 350 or 377.

Hi Guys.

You beat me to it Byron. But didn't the long water pump only fit 'bolt-hole' type heads, because the long alternator bolt screws into the RH head.

So yes, either will work, but you need 'bolt-hole' heads for the long water pump setup.

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

Terry you are correct, but it's not hard to fabricate up an alternator mount.
