I am going to buy an engine and what to run it onstraight gas. What do I need to change engine wise if anything? What cam is used or different from a normal mild cam? Is a normal carby OK? What compression ratio should I be looking at?
Any other info appreciated
Thanks

Hardened seats, 11:1 compression and recalibrated dizzy if straight gas. Less than 9.5:1 and a spark map compromise if you want to run dual fuel. You can buy a cam that will suit either fuel, but there will be an optimal one for straight LPG.

straight gas will also mean the end of your carby.
a straight gas carby is required.
Gas research carbies are good, and gain 10-30% in power of petrol.
