Can anyone point me in the right direction with the right booster/master cylinder to suit my HK ute project. The car had a drum brake type master cylinder mounted to the firewall which i have tossed, thinking a HT/G disc style booster would mount straight up but not unless i start drilling holes in the firewall. I have a booster supposedly off a HT V8 Premier which does not fit. Anyone got any ideas?? ( Running HQ brakes )

Hi Stumpy.

Any HK/HT/HG vacuum booster will fit your ute, as long as you have the correct brackets & pushrod etc.

All disc braked cars in these models, use the larger double diaphragm booster & there are 2 distinct types.

Early HKs, up to mid/lat
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

Thanks Dr Terry, right again. There was a small dimple in the firewall and the pedal has the two holes in it. Your knowledge amazes me again. Cheers
