hi, does anybody know what the difference from the Gen 3 timing chain set up from and that of an older style cast iron 350. i was told the block is the same casting but its just made of aluminium. And 2nd. if the same,can you put straight cut timing geard into a gen 3 and problems if any with these gears.... Jamie

The Gen3 block shares nothing with the cast iron ones except the bore spacing dimensions.
