whats wrong with my fuel sender unit in my hz wagon? i got a replacement from rare spares. when i gave it to my mechanis it did not match the sender unit already in my tank. rare spares were excellent, as they had sent wrong unit out. so i get my new unit that is the corret 1 for my hz wagon. but again it does not match what is already in my car. mine has 2 pipes exiting from the fuel sender unit. my mechanic told me it looks to be a return pipe or a breather. but the new replacement from rare spares does not have 2 pipes exiting. i am lost and unsure. has the previous owner used a sender unit from a different holden, or can i just replace it with the part from rare spares and ignore the other pipe and hose???? any help greatly appreciated - sorry about the long winded explaination

cheers geoff

Hi geoff.

The HX/HZ V8s with factory A/Cond have a vapour return line to the tank, this is what the extra pipe is for. Can't you get your's reconditioned at Rares. It might take a little longer, but I think that's the only way you're going to get the c
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0
