How hard is it to do a rear main on a vs v6 .I am thinking the pulling of the box out is relatively easy no different to a turbo 400 or trimatic .
I have been told by the RWC bloke there is a plate on the rear of the block similar to a timing cover that holds the rear main and that the plate also could be a cause of the leak as well.Is it adviable to replace the plate and the seal as a pcakge? has any one done one as ive got 5 days to do this job or inhave to pay for another rwc . Any help advise would be appreciatted .Dazza

they arent too hard, just remove gearbox and replace the plate and seal. just remember when you remove plate coolant will come out so maybe drain coolant and do oil change after.
