hi guys ,you mite wanna check out for theses parts on ebay,you can get theses parts most of the time either new or secondhand and a lot cheaper then rare spares and autobarn then you can else were ,both of these places are more expensive for parts and you

I have been waiting for a post like this. Personally my experience with Rare Spares staff in Melbourne has been nothing short of exceptional.

However, my beef if with some of the rust repair sections. Its great we have them but they should fit perfect

Yeah but the local super doesnt give discounts to certain members of the community - clubs etc, so whats wrong with asking?

I dont think there is a problem with asking for the best price, cause everybody knows theres a good markup on parts and if bought 5-6 items costing near $1000 and didnt get any discount i would walk out and deal with someone else. Everybody offers discoun

we do get training, and also learn new stuff everyday with things we have to get for customers, as i said before, we also rely on the customer knowing the parts they need. unfortunately i and other Rars staff dont know everything about 48-VZ holdens and X

I have been reading this forum thread, and I would like to put my two bits in.

Guys, if you think Rares are expensive, try finding some of those new parts you so desperately need elsewhere - oh I forgot, you can't get most of them elsewhere (silly me!)

Whats the big deal.I,ve been buying stuff from Rare Spares since the early 80,s and they have always been the same.You wait at the counter,slowly melting,trying to catch the eye of one of the highly trained staff.If the parts are not "out the back".Rememb
