HKTG Monaro hubcaps and balance weights

I'm in the process off ripping off mags and reverting to steel rims with original hubcaps.
Had the wheels balanced but weights on the outside face of the rim prevent the hubcap from fitting. What's the solution?

You may be able to get them rebalanced and the weights fitted on the inside.
The do this quite often on flashy mag wheels for cosmetic reasons.
They generally use flat stick on weights when they do this too.
That's exactly how my alloy wheels on

Ask for a 'static' balance, and explain that you dont want the weights on the outside. I have never had any problems doing this. Ihave asked about the flat mag wheel weights, and they wont put them on steel wheels. Go with the static balance and see wh
