Are the HK disk brake/calipers etc the same setup at the HT and HG? i'm planning of putting my HK GTS back to original, a i have access to HT-HG front end. Currently i have HQ disks and calipers.

HK and HT are the same, except for manual HT 1837. HG are all the same as the HT 1837. Difference is the thickness of the discs. Have a look at the RDA or DBA website. Regardless of the text on the sites, the thicker disc is the HG one. IIRC the calipers

Does this mean the HK GTS 327 disk calipers are the same as HT-HG?

Hi tanart.

The calipers are not exactly the same , but can be made to be the same.

To elaborate on what Byron has said the HK disc rotors are 1/2" thick. All HT rotors are also 1/2" thick except for the GTS 350 (81837) which have 5/8" thick rotors.
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0
