Excuse the long winded question sorry>>>Anyone with a clevo, can you tell me where the temp sender is situated.Mine is just to the left(looking from the front) and below the thermostat housing. It sits horizontal facing to the front and is screwed direct into the block. Is this correct possie??. Reason for question is i am trying to figure out why temp reads high all the time( gauge goes to 100 in 3 minutes altho thermostat is not open as radiator is cold to touch as are rocker covers.,This positon puts it just below the thermostat bypass the way i see itand maybe it is reading wrong..Should the sensor be engine side of thermostat or radiator side (i.e in the thermostat housing) There are two spare outlets on thermo housing where it could potentially go.. Also i have no heaters so i have 2 plugged outlets on waterpump and one just behind waterpump coming off block and was thinking maybe they need to loop or something/somehow.If anyone has a link or a pic showing the front of a clevo in enuff detail to see hoses etc that would be ace,Thanks Guys

Don't know about the chemical test, but i've heard about the head gasket issue. It's actually a common stuff up. Maybe take the car to a radiator shop. They can stick a gauge on your radiator, check the pressure and flow. It's looking more like a bloc
