I have an EL wagon and have the opportunity to aquire an AU series 1 with factory gas. I know the motors are basically the same so the gas system should swap over ok but will the gas tanks in the wheel well of the AU fit into the EL wheel well. Also, what other bits might I need to finish the job like the switches and guages. Can I just use the AU ones or will I need to get EL factory gas switches and guages?
Any advise will be most appreciated.

Cheers

I canned that idea in the end and just went out and bought an AUII Futura wagon with factory Tickford dual fuel. A much better idea me thinks. So now I have a 97 EL Futura C
