G'day.

I'm thinking of installing an EA-BA fuel injected six in an XP ford sedan.

Not sure if it will fit or what mods i will have to do past updating the wiring loom.

I'm a holden bloke and have no idea about what ford motor fits in what.

Will a newer gearbox/motor combo need modifications done specifically to the undercarriage/firewall/chassis etc or just bolt in as is?

This would be a good swap. The EA-ED 3.9/4.0 engines use the same engine mounts as every other 6 cylinder Falcon from about XA onwards. EF's onwards use different mounts but the earlier mounts will bolt to the later engine.
