HI all

Any trick to replacing both the PS lines ? (253)

Does the pump need to be primed or anything or just fill & go

No tricks, just make sure you have the correct hoses. The HJ uses the early high pressure hose with a flare type fitting at each end.

Fill it up, put the cap on & start the engine, let it idle & turn the steering wheel slowly from lock to lock. Turn it off to top it up.

Initially the fluid will tend to aerate (fizz up) a bit & the pump will whine, but don't worry, just let it sit & start it up later.

cheers, is there a drain port ? or just crack the hoses, let it bleed & into it

No drain port, no bleeding required. The fluid goes from the reservoir, into the pump, then to the box & back to the reservoir. It "self bleeds".

No drain plug just crack the hoses and let them drain into a bucket.
