LXSS what too look for Options

A9X has HQ-WB stud pattern model number on the plate for an SS should read 8VD77 . (A9X) is an option code that would appear after the model number if that is what it is. If the number reads 8VC77 it is a SL hatchback 6/8

An A9X was only an option on an LX SS, and as all of these were built in Melbourne there is option codes on the plates. Email me the VIN number and I'll look at what I have. I have a list somewhere of all A9X VI

Byron, wasn't the A9X option also available on the LX SL/R 5000. Also was that a typo, you didn't mean to say that Melbourne cars DID have A9X on the plate did you. Dr Terry

If it's not there, because of panel replacement etc it is repeated on the compliance plate. That's the plate with the date on it. Dr Terry.
