The whole back axle or just the diff? The axle won't fit too narrow and you have to modify the spring mounts. A VN onwards will be almost perfect fit but will still need the mounts modified.

I've just finished this conversion in my LC Torana, goes great.
this might come in handy for the fuel pump relay.

It is a very good idea, but not absolutely necessary. Say a bit like an oil cooler on an auto transmission. The idea of a swirl pot is to ensure you always have petrol in the pump as it is how the pump is lubricated. One will cost you about $125 from Amer

For ease it probably best to put in a surge tank and just use a lift pump then the efi. its not as neat but can be done easily. a guy on ebay makes custom surge tanks for a reasonable price to your specs. Geting an efi tank to fit is not fun but cvan be d

The plug kmocks out but you have to reach it by taking the sump off and using a long rod to get a it.
The dipstick tube from the earlier motor will have to be fitted, I had real problems getting it to seal it kept leaking oil, also it has to go in a part

VN onwards fit almost perfectly but of course you have to modify the brackets etc and I believe some messing about with the handbrake setup.
