The whole back axle or just the diff? The axle won't fit too narrow and you have to modify the spring mounts. A VN onwards will be almost perfect fit but will still need the mounts modified.

It is a very good idea, but not absolutely necessary. Say a bit like an oil cooler on an auto transmission. The idea of a swirl pot is to ensure you always have petrol in the pump as it is how the pump is lubricated. One will cost you about $125 from Amer |

For ease it probably best to put in a surge tank and just use a lift pump then the efi. its not as neat but can be done easily. a guy on ebay makes custom surge tanks for a reasonable price to your specs. Geting an efi tank to fit is not fun but cvan be d

The plug kmocks out but you have to reach it by taking the sump off and using a long rod to get a it. The dipstick tube from the earlier motor will have to be fitted, I had real problems getting it to seal it kept leaking oil, also it has to go in a part

VN onwards fit almost perfectly but of course you have to modify the brackets etc and I believe some messing about with the handbrake setup.
