Hi guys.
I have a tailshaft out of a HJ statesman with a T400. Will this go into a HZ van with a trimatic, or are the yokes/splines/lengths different? I assume the diffs are much the same or am I wrong there?
Cheers

Hi hainzy.

The TH400 uses a different yoke with different splines when compared to a Tri-Matic and the tailshaft length is also different.

Dr Terry.
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0

Wrong rear uni unless it's a V8 banjo (I'm assuming Hainzy has a 10-bolt here?). You need one out of a V8 trimatic, 3 speed, 4speed or TH350 HQ-WB van, ute, wagon or statesman.
