has anyone seen this coversion done ?? If so is it a big job ? anything i need too be cautious of

I have heard of a 350 in a VK so would similar for a 327, but the question is why? If you have that much spare cash to do an oddball conversion you could give some to me and just stroke a 308.

I agree. Sump is your problem. Easier and cheaper to stroke a 308 to 350, or fit a GenIII crate motor with a carby.

dont really under stand the reply from JBM but any how the sump is the problem i guess ? cheers Byron for your response and i will be at the van this week so i will give ya a buzz about the saginaw

It's not so much the sump itself that's the problem, it's the location of the oil pump inside the sump.
I've seen a guy make a sump to suit SBC into Commodore, but he forgot about the oil pump. You could go to a dry sump set-up, but then th |
