Yet another great reason to rebuild a standard 308.. After the stroker crank and rods and $$$$ spent its still 22 cubes down on a bog stocker 308... Wonder how much it would weigh ??

Much like a 307 goes harder than a 308. Not worth doing yourself if you have a 308, but worth it for what he's asking IF you have say a HZ 253 Sandman or GTS and want to keep it as original as po

Much like a 307 goes harder than a 308. Not worth doing yourself if you have a 308, but worth it for what hes asking IF you have say a HZ 253 Sandman or GTS and want to keep it as original as poss

(3.625/2)^2 x pi x 3.48 x 8 = 287.3ci. If it had 307 pistons (which I doubt as this is a 250 thou overbore over std 253) with a 3.21" stroke it'd be a 303ci motor. A std bore 253 with a 3.21" stroke is a 265ci engine. It looks like it
