Hi guys I have a xb coupe 302 winsor , manual, how do I go buy fitting a T5 gearbox in it? would there be any major problems or can it be put in no worries with a V8 bell housing and is the clutch system the same?

There are a few different T5 gearboxes around all with different ratio's input shaft lengths and torque ratings.

Dellow or CRS both sell a sandwich plate that bolts onto your existing 4 speed bell housing and then you bolt the T5 to this plate. If

Thanks Jim, So I take it a T5 can fit, but what type of gearbox is correct and how do I know? using the same clutch system sounds good, thanks Jim.

Sorry, me again, I would be doing a bit of freeway driving, so I need that extra gear for the overdrive down the road so it doesn't rev so much.

Dellow can advise on which T5 to use. For instance Commodore T5's use a very long input shaft and different splines to a Ford T5. I believe that the input shaft length is different between a 6 cylinder Falcon T5 and a V8 Falcon T5. I could be wrong on tha
