Hi guys I have a xb coupe 302 winsor , manual, how do I go buy fitting a T5 gearbox in it? would there be any major problems or can it be put in no worries with a V8 bell housing and is the clutch system the same? Cheers Phill.

There are a few different T5 gearboxes around all with different ratio's input shaft lengths and torque ratings.
Dellow or CRS both sell a sandwich plate that bolts onto your existing 4 speed bell housing and then you bolt the T5 to this plate. If |

Thanks Jim, So I take it a T5 can fit, but what type of gearbox is correct and how do I know? using the same clutch system sounds good, thanks Jim. Phill.

Sorry, me again, I would be doing a bit of freeway driving, so I need that extra gear for the overdrive down the road so it doesn't rev so much. cheers Phill.

Dellow can advise on which T5 to use. For instance Commodore T5's use a very long input shaft and different splines to a Ford T5. I believe that the input shaft length is different between a 6 cylinder Falcon T5 and a V8 Falcon T5. I could be wrong on tha |
